Details
The lake is an approximate 18 acre, 50 years old, mature gravel pit. The banks are tree lined and set on the edge of 6 acre wood. The site will include English toilets, showers and bait freezer for anglers use.
The lake has been virtually unfished for the past 20 to 25 years according to locals, and also rumours of two 50lb Carp, but unconfirmed.
Best weight so far is 43.06lb mirror carp and numerous other 30lb plus fish. With a remainder being mainly 20lb plus. Grass carp to 38.8lb. There are Wells Catfish up to 42lbs. At least 9 different sturgeon to 34lb. When the lake open's, it will be the first year open for commercial operation.
The lake is English owned and run, the owners live on site. The land is a secured fenced area , there are 20 swims of which around 4 or 5 could be double pegs, with a maximum of 14 anglers and occasionally the bailiff!
Plenty of features on the lake to fish too, the depth varies from 3ft to 15ft!
The lake is 1 km long and varying from approximately 100 to 150 yards wide, fishing from one bank only when fishing at Les Grand Champs!
Also on site there is a shop, which sells basic tackle and bait. it Also sells particles, beer and snack foods. The shop will sell the items using local currency, euros.
April till September prices:
Price: £150 or €210 from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 2pm!

October till November prices:
Price: £100 or €140 from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 2pm
£80 Deposit need when booking the lake.
Non fishing guests are free.
