carp caught at etang les grand champs

our first weekends carp fishing at etang les grand champs france, took place this weekend, a local french fishing club arrived to sunshine and 15 degrees c, on the friday the night it was 6 degrees c, the saturday was 11 degrees c and cloudy with showers, the saturday night was 4 degrees c. the carp are just starting to feed after the winter with the lake temperature being 11-12 degrees. the carp caught were 30.4lb mirror, 18.7lb common, 20.9lb common and a 26.4lb sturgeon, by 1 team of 2 carpists. a 33.4lb mirror by1 carpist, and 2 sturgeon weighing 26.4lb and 18.7lb by another team of 2 carpists. the club went away very happy with the results of the fishing for the time of year, and will return later on in the year for more carp fishing. as it was the clubs first time at etang les grand champs, they were very impressed with the facilities and the condition of the carp and sturgeon.

Today we (Les Grand Champs) launched our first blog.
To keep you updated on what’s going on with our fishing lake, we will keep you posted on new fish caught, competetions on the way, changes to the rules of our fishing lake, changes to prices, changes to development of the lake and it’s surroundings and basically anything we may think is relevant for the public to know.
